Sought for affection;
Sought for warmth.
In moments of cold and isolation,
I yearned for a shoulder to lean upon.
I wanted to reach out and arms would wrap around;
Make me feel safe, and
make me feel found.
But every time someone comes to do the deed,
Pride would devour the weakness in me,
And what I would do
was push him away, make sure he leaves.
You are the glitch.
You have become the very person I never want of myself to get rid.
Good evening. I really like this poem. I would love to feature this on my poetry corner. I will reblog this post and hopefully, my followers will visit your page and read more of your work.

Good evening everyone, yep we have another Friday Night Poetry Corner for this week, and do I have a poem for you. The name of this work is called “My Moon” and it is featured by Coffee, Moon, and Sunsets. What I can gather that his author might be one person or multiple people but in any case, it is well-written poetry. So please visit their page and read more of their work. I really enjoyed their other writings along with the layout of their blog.
